In the summer, there is of course a tennis court!

We were very dissapointed when we arrived on the 27th of June. We were to be at the High Country Haus in Winter Park from June 27th to July 3rd. We were given a condo number and expected to be there; but when we arrived we were told that our room was not available!! We were not even notified about this change and were shown a different room on the second level (We were to have a main level room)We looked at the room and it wasn't anything like the condo we were suppose to have. So even though we were given a very nice condo in Fraser it wasn't what we wanted. The pool area and recreation area wasn't the best and our room was on the second level. We made the best of our time there and have to say that we wouldn't stay there again. We did appreciate that they put us in a higher priced place at no charge to us, but the bottom line is we did not get to stay where we had booked for and were very dissapointed.

View is nice, but Hwy 40 is right there with constant noise. Since the condo sits high on the ridge, the sound from the traffic is clearly heard all night long. Condo is very spacious with vaulted ceiling, but no ceiling fan. Upstairs gets warm by the end of the day. Not much cross ventilation, unless you prop the front door open as well as the door to the complex (which was propped open when we arrived). Bring your own cone coffee filters for the coffee pot, as well as salt, pepper, sugar/honey. Loft bedroom has shades for the opening to allow for privacy. 3 very nice bathrooms.
